தமிழ் மற்றும் பல மொழிகளில் பல பாடல்களை பாடியவர் கிருஷ்ணகுமார் குன்னத். இவரை அனைவராலும் KK என்று அழைக்கப்படுவார்.
கொல்கத்தாவில் நடந்த விழாவில் அவர் பாடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் போதே அவருக்கு உடல்நலம் பாதிக்கப்பட்டது. அவர் உடனடியாக மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டார். அவரை பரிசோதித்த மருத்துவர்கள் இறந்து விட்டதாக அறிவித்தனர்.
இதனால் ஒட்டுமொத்த திரையுலகமும் அதிர்ச்சியில் உறைந்துள்ளது.
